Justagirl really is amazing - she is such a strong person and that is a key ingredient to success. Determination, imagination and hope are three qualities she posesses. Also, please make some more paintings - they are really beautiful (I am not a professional but that is my honest opinion)!

Wow, you guys are to much. In the next 2-3 weeks my schedule is packed. I have so much going on. I have arranged Sept 3rd for my garage to be cleaned out and set up so I can paint. Sept 4-6, I have an international convention to attend. Afterwards, I'm going to drive to Oakland and hang out with my Dad. So, it may be a few weeks before I can pick up a brush again. This is going to be very hard on me but, it's going to be worth it. Llana, you have inspired me to where I am going to experiment with different paints, mediums, and techniques. I'm so excited and can't wait. :)
I forgot to tell you llana, that my name, Nadine, means hope in Russia. I thought it was just interesting how you mentioned one of the qualities being hope and the connection with my name. Thankyou so much. You're the best!!
Actually caribbean. My mother is from Haiti. My name Nadine is french and the a is pronounced as the "a" in the word cat. My mother's side of family speaks French and Creole. It is also from the Russian root "Nadejda", at least that's what Svetlana told me (a russian lady I use to work with and always use to cook food for me and bring the dish to work). My father is from Jamaica. My family is very mixed up with different backgrounds. Very confusing sometimes. :)
One day, I need to sit down and look at both of my parent's background. For example, my dad is jamaican but is irish, english, and west indies. Hey you know what, I would love to email you but trying to figure out how without letting the world know it. Not that they would be interested. LOL! :)

That's so cool! French is hard (I'm learning it). It's nice to come from a variety of backgrounds - you are familiar with many cultures then! :-)
